Hi, my name is Bridget Schlueter! I have a deep passion for the beauty industry and all it has to offer, which fuels my desire to connect with people and help them discover their inner beauty.
Throughout my journey, I’ve had the opportunity to build my dream company alongside my dream team. I’m both a licensed cosmetology teacher and a licensed cosmetologist. My career took me from being a Level 6 stylist and educator in my own company to becoming a former L’Oreal professional products division brand educator. I’ve also cherished my experiences working in the spa setting and as a spray tan technician with our sister company, BodiBronze Sunless Spa, located in Champaign, IL.
Stepping back from working directly with clients was a significant change for me, but it led me to my true calling, passion, and love — coaching my service providers. Now, I devote myself to helping them become the best versions of themselves, all while ensuring we deliver a top-notch experience to our guests.

How often should I get my hair cut if I want my hair to grow longer?

We recommend coloring your hair every 4 to 12 weeks depending on the color and technique used. To prepare for your hair appointment, avoid using any heavy hair products beforehand and have an idea in mind of what style, color, or cut you are looking for. For more questions about your appointment, do not hesitate to give our beauty salon a call. We’re one of the top beauty salons in the area.
Does Shear X have a cancellation policy?
Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the reserved services. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you, and the fee still applies.
